The creamiest, richest overnight oats you can possibly make! It is one of the simplest and fastest recipes to prepare, so you will always be able to make it when you have no time.
The thick combination of Greek yogurt and almond butter gives you plenty of fiber, protein, and unsaturated fats to fuel you up for your day. Adding dark chocolate in the mix gives a satisfying cocoa taste while not being too interfering with the overall flavor.
This recipe is dynamic and customizable, since you can add some of your favorite ingredients after the oats finish chilling. Vanilla extract and sliced bananas are some of my favorite mix-ins.
Benefits of eating overnight oats
The greatest benefit of eating overnight oats is that they can be prepared quickly. In as little as 5 minutes, you can gather all the ingredients you need to make it. Then, in the next 5 minutes, you can mix everything together very fast and store it in the fridge. It is one of the most time-efficient breakfast recipes you can find, since you simply need to take it out of the fridge after 6 to 8 hours and start eating it.
This recipe includes almond butter, which is high in fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, vitamin B, vitamin E, calcium, magnesium, and copper. It is also one of the best foods to have to balance your cholesterol levels.
It is important to note that almond butter is very expensive. If you do not want to use it, peanut butter is a viable alternative. It tastes equally creamy and contains similar ingredients as almond butter but has the benefit of being higher in protein. Whichever option you choose, it guarantees that the texture of your oats will be super creamy and vitamin enriched. Try using peanut butter with no palm oil, as palm oil may make your overnight oats too thick.
Greek yogurt is a fantastic complement to the denseness of nut butter. It is less viscous, contains additional fibers and proteins, and makes mixing easier. Additionally, the probiotics in Greek yogurt help aid the digestion of the oats and nut butter, ensuring you do not get a belly ache. This completes these overnight oats well and makes it one of the best breakfast foods you can make.

How to store overnight oats
Place the overnight oats in an airtight container, and cover it with an airtight seal or plastic wrapping. Then, store it in your fridge for no longer than 5 days.
If 5 days pass, the oat mixture will either be extremely mushy and hard to chew, or some ingredients will go past their expiration date. Eat all the oats in no more than 2 sittings, if you want to ensure the best flavor and texture.
