Banana Coffee Smoothie w/Protein
A healthy morning smoothie. Infused with banana, coffee and protein powder, it's a very easy yet effective 3-ingredient recipe.

- 1 ripe banana preferred frozen, sliced
- 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 scoop pea protein powder
- ½ cup milk of choice 2% milk preferred
- 1 tbsp nut butter optional
- ½ tsp cinnamon optional
- 1 or 2 ice cubes optional
- 1 tsp maple syrup/honey optional
Add the coffee, banana, protein powder, and milk to a blender. Use oat milk or buttermilk for extra creaminess.
Add any optional ingredients if you wish (nut butter, cinnamon, sweetener, ice). Skip this step if necessary.
Blend everything until it looks smooth and creamy.
Do a taste test. Adjust the sweetness or thickness if necessary. If it's too thin, you can add some more banana slices to the mix.
Pour the finished smoothie into a glass or thermos, and enjoy.
